INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES FOR ACCOUNTING AUTOMATION: DIGITAL TOOLS, INNOVATIVE APPROACHES AND APPLIED SOLUTIONS

The article reviews accounting information technologies that have usefull for development of the field of information technology as a whole, and have found wide distribution outside the field of accounting. Elements of accounting automation information technologies were studied with the aim of more effectively solving accounting problems and developing information technologies. Accounting automation information technologies include various programming languages, data storage systems and software development environments. Special attention have to universal reuse technologies, such as: OLE (Object Linking and Embedding), ActiveX.They allow combine information from different programs in one document or program. In reviewing existing accounting programs, the Tryton and BAS Accounting programs have musch advances. In accounting programs, information exchange tools using the HTTP protocol may be available.Database management systems can be used to store data in accounting programs. Database management systems are divided into relational and non-relational. RDBMS include commercial products: IBM DB2, Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Visual FoxPro and free ones: PostgreSQL, MySQL, sqlite3. Accounting programs can provide interaction with the user using a web browser. For interaction with the user, a web browser supports HTML, CSS, javascript standards. HTML (HyperText Markup Language) is a standardized document markup language for displaying web pages in a browser. CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) is a special style language for pages used to describe their appearance. JavaScript (JS) is a dynamic, object-oriented, prototypal programming language. It is most often used to script web pages, providing the ability on the client side (end-user device) to interact with the user, control the browser, asynchronously exchange data with the server, and change the structure and appearance of a web page.
