SOCIAL FUNCTION OF THE TRANSPORT INDUSTRY

The article considers the transport industry of Ukraine through the prism of fulfilling the social function of the state, the meaning of which is to improve the quality of life of the country’s population. Education, health care and culture are considered as the main areas of social development. It is concluded that in order to ensure the stable functioning and development of transport, the government takes fundamental decisions, an example of which is the national transport strategy of Ukraine for the period up to 2030, and an increase in budget financing in a number of areas, which allows us to expect the development of the social function in the future transport industry of Ukraine.
